Foreword

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is an identification protocol for ensuring the authenticity of e-mail senders.

Requirements

  • Server with Plesk Control Panel
  • Access to the DNS zone of the domain

Enable DKIM in Plesk

First log in to the Plesk Control Panel of your server and then navigate to the email settings under Websites & Domains โ†’ domain.de โ†’ Email โ†’ Email Settings.

Then make sure that the "Use DKIM spam protection system to sign outgoing email messages" checkbox is activated.

If the option "Use DKIM spam protection system to sign outgoing e-mail messages " is not activated, you can check the box and save the settings using the Save button.

Store DKIM key in DNS

After activating the option, the DKIM key can then be called up under "Configuration of the external DNS ". Here you will find all the information on how to create the necessary DNS entry.
