Adjust the Time Zone
In this article, you'll learn how to adjust the time zone for servers with Managed or Unmanaged support levels via the Customer Center. A correctly configured time zone ensures that system times, logs, and time-dependent services function as expected. By default, the server is set to the UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) time zone.
We recommend using UTC as the server time zone and storing times in UTC. This makes it easy to convert the display in applications to the desired user time zone.
Adjust the Time Zone
If you want to change your server’s time zone, navigate to the desired server product in the Customer Center. On the “Overview” tab, go to the “Time Zone” menu item and click the “Change Time Zone” button.
Then select the desired time zone for your server from the drop-down menu and confirm your selection by clicking the “Save Changes” button. Your system’s time zone will be changed automatically.
Warning: Changing the server time zone will automatically restart the server so that all services operate with the correct time zone.
