Network Setup
Depending on the selected network interfaces, manual steps may be required for the initial network setup of Windows servers.
View Network Configuration
In the Customer Center, navigate to the Network tab to verify that the network adapters are configured correctly. In the “Available IP Addresses” section, you can verify the correct configuration for both the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
WAN Network
After the initial deployment of Windows Server, access the server’s Web Console and follow the instructions provided by the Windows Installer.
Then navigate to the existing network adapters and open the adapter options.
If you are configuring an additional network adapter here, please make sure to select the correct Ethernet adapter in the overview above.
Next, select the menu item Properties → Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Enter the IPv4 address, subnet mask, and default gateway displayed in the Customer Center. For the DNS servers, you can use the public servers from Google, Cloudflare, or ours, provided you are not using an additional NAT gateway.
Example:
# Google
8.8.8.8
8.8.8.8
# Cloudflare
1.1.1.1
# creoline
5.1.73.73 For more information about our Public DNS service, see the article: creoline Public DNS.
Save the changes by clicking the OK button.
You can then open ip.creoline.com in the preinstalled Google Chrome browser to verify that the settings have been applied correctly.
To configure the IPv6 protocol correctly, repeat the steps and select "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" from the adapter properties menu.
