Installing the Zabbix Agent

Prerequisites

• Windows Server
• Access via RDP or web console

Download Zabbix Agent 2

Access the Zabbix Agent download page from the Windows Server:

https://www.zabbix.com/de/download_agents

Select “Windows” as the OS distribution and choose the latest version, 7.2.3.

Then, from the list of downloads, select “Zabbix agent 2.”

Installation

Open the installer and follow the installation instructions.

Enter the hostname “monitoring.creoline.com” in the Zabbix server IP/DNS field and remove 127.0.0.1 from “Server or Proxy for active checks”.

You can then continue the installation by clicking “Next” and complete the installation of the Zabbix Agent.
