DNS Records
To manage the DNS records of a DNS zone, select the corresponding DNS zone in Zone Management. In addition to the standard RR types, we also support web redirects.
Changes to the DNS zone can have unintended consequences. If you are unsure whether the change you are about to make is correct, you should create a backup of the entire DNS zone beforehand.
Create a DNS Record
To create a new DNS record, select the Create Record button at the top of the page. You can then freely define the RR type, TTL, host, and value of the record.
The following RR types are supported:
- A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, SPF, NS, SRV, ALIAS, RP, SSHFP, NAPTR, CAA, TLSA, SOA
To save the new record, select Save Record. The changes will then be distributed to all DNS Edge servers in our Anycast network.
Please note that the new DNS record is not propagated worldwide immediately and it may take several hours for the record to become available globally. You can use our DNS lookup tool to check the resolution.
Edit a DNS Entry
To edit an existing DNS entry, select the corresponding entry and then click the pencil icon.
In the dialog window that appears, you can edit the entry’s values.
Then save your changes by clicking the Save Changes button.
Please note that the modified DNS record is not propagated worldwide immediately, and it may take several hours for the updated record to become available globally. You can use our DNS lookup tool to check the resolution.
Remove a DNS Entry
To remove an existing DNS entry, select the X icon next to the desired DNS entry.
Confirm the removal of the record by clicking the Remove Record button.

Edit SOA Record
To change the SOA record of the DNS zone, select the menu item Settings → Edit SOA Record in the upper section of the DNS zone.
