By default, access to the GitLab Rails Console with the SSH user is not possible, but our support can grant you the necessary rights for the GitLab Rails Console.

• GitLab Server (support level: Managed)

Access via our support

To get access to the GitLab Rails Console, contact our support so that we can grant your SSH user the necessary rights for access. You can find out how to contact our support team in the following help center article:

After you have received feedback from our support that you have been granted access to the GitLab-Rails Console with your SSH user, you can start the GitLab-Rails Console with the following command:

sudo gitlab-rails console
