Adjust Plesk limits
Foreword
The management of system resources is a central component of stable and secure server operation. With the limit management in the Plesk Control Panel, Plesk offers a clear and effective way to set and monitor these individually.
Requirements
- Server with Plesk Control Panel
Adjustment of limit values
To customize the predefined limits, log in to your Plesk Control Panel and navigate to Monitoring → Settings → Limits.
Here you can define the memory utilization for NGINX, PHP-FPM and MySQL, for example, which sends e-mails to the administrator if the defined values are exceeded. We recommend adjusting the limit values, as these are set very low by default and may result in unwanted emails.
Known problems
If you receive an increasing number of e-mail notifications that the limits on your server have been exceeded, we recommend adjusting these in the Plesk Control Panel.
Increase the value of the limit values referenced in the email slightly, but this should not be set above 80%. The default limit values are 20%.
