Restore a Backup

First, log in to the Customer Center using your login credentials and open the Plesk Control Panel for the affected server.



Restore a Backup

Navigate to the subscription for which you want to restore a backup.


Select the Backup and Restore button.


Select the backup you want to restore based on its creation date.

Various options are available for restoration.


Download

Use the Download button to download the Plesk backup so you can extract individual files and then restore them.


Restore Selected Objects

Using the “Selected Objects” setting, you can restore individual subscriptions or parts of a single subscription.


All Objects (Entire System)

This setting restores all content from the Plesk backup.



Restoring Selected Objects

Under the “What do you want to restore?” option, select “Selected Items”. You can then configure which types of content you want to restore from the selected subscriptions. The following options are available:

  • Email account (a single email mailbox for a subscription)
  • Database (a single database for a subscription)
  • SSL/TLS certificates (a single certificate for a subscription)
  • Websites (Web server files for a subscription)


Select the desired items from the list of available items and click the Select Object(s) button.


To begin the restoration, finally select the Restore menu item. If you would like to be notified once the restoration is complete, you can first enable the option “Send notification upon completion of restoration to” and enter your email address.
