RDNS / Reverse DNS Configuration
In this support article, you'll learn how to customize the reverse DNS configuration for your server.
RDNS settings can only be configured for the following products: V-Server, Shopware Server, Agency Server, Managed Redis, Managed MySQL, or Managed Elasticsearch.
Change RDNS Entry
First, log in to the Customer Center at account.creoline.com using your login credentials. Then select your server via the menu item Server → Virtual Servers.
Use the side menu to navigate to the Network tab. The upper section displays the network interfaces currently configured on the server.
Directly below that, you’ll find the available IP addresses with their corresponding DNS PTR entries (RDNS).
Click on the RDNS entry to change it:
In the RDNS Hostname input field, you can change the existing hostname to the desired hostname.
Please ensure that the RDNS hostname matches the server’s actual Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).
