Email Sender Configuration
Problems often arise when configuring email in Shopware 6. Generally, a distinction is made between two different sender email addresses in email correspondence:

| Header Email Address | Sender email address displayed in the email client |
Configuring the Envelope Email Address
The envelope email address is configured in Shopware under Settings → Shop → Master Data.
In the “Shop Operator Email Address” field, enter the technical sender address you want to use for sending emails. Then save the changes by clicking the Save button.
Configuring the Header Email Address
The header email address is configured in Shopware under Settings → System → Mailer. In addition to the basic SMTP server configuration, you can also enter the sender address here.
Please note that the sender address will be displayed in your customers’ email clients. The email address should therefore be capable of receiving emails in case one of your customers clicks the “Reply” button.
