POP3 / IMAP and SMTP Proxy Destinations
Using proxy destinations, you can connect to different destination servers via the central creoline mail services. POP3, IMAP, and SMTP server settings can be configured automatically via the Autodiscover service or manually through your email client.

Create a Proxy Destination
First, log in to the creoline Customer Center and select the menu item Email Protection › Proxy Destinations.
Click the “Add Proxy Destination” button to create a new proxy destination.

Domain
Enter the domain here for which you want to create a proxy destination

POP3 Server and Port
Specify the POP3 destination with which the proxy server pop.creoline.com should communicate

IMAP Server and Port
Specify the IMAP destination with which the proxy server imap.creoline.com should communicate

SMTP Server and Port

Specify the SMTP destination with which the proxy server smtp.creoline.com should communicate
Note:
Communication between the proxy server and the proxy destination must not be encrypted.
Default ports: POP3: 110 - IMAP: 143 - SMTP: 25
Define Firewall Rules on the Proxy Destination
To allow the proxy server to communicate with the proxy destination, appropriate firewall rules must be created for the proxy destination.

Setting Up Login Credentials in the Email Client
Once the proxy destination has been configured and the corresponding firewall rules have been set up, the new login credentials can be configured in the email client.

- Server: pop.creoline.com
- Username: Configuration on the proxy destination
- Password: Configuration on the proxy destination
- Port: 995 (SSL/TLS)
- Incoming Server (IMAP)
- Server: imap.creoline.com
- Username: Configuration on the proxy server
- Password: Configuration at the proxy destination
- Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- Outgoing Server (SMTP STARTTLS)
- Server: smtp.creoline.com
- Username: Configuration at the proxy destination
- Password: Configuration at the proxy destination
- Port: 587 (STARTTLS)
- Outgoing server (SMTP SSL)
- Server: smtp.creoline.com
- Username: Configuration at the proxy destination
